The interesting thing is that it’ s the same price if we take the connecting flight a week later, so another idea is to find a Gold Crown in New York and chill for a week, enjoying the city, shopping, eating, clubbing– then go Paradisus 5* for a week only!

Hello Paul

I just created a Wikipedia page about Driscoll House and have added a link to your photos as a External Link. I hope this is OK. I found them via a google image search.

The interiors of the hotel are even more amazing, a 1950s timewarp. There are a couple of my own photos on the Wikipedia page.

Cheers
Andrew

Hi,
I was doing a google search to find out where Comments that are made to pictures in Picassa are stored so that I can be sure that I am backing them up when I back up Picassa's database. I came across a response you had in the thread that I found and you were also wondering how this works. Did you ever find this out?

Thanks,
\reg

That's not the only way Ryanair increases its income. The airline charges Euro 7.00 per kilo for excess baggage. At Treviso (Italy) airport recently, the scales showed between 1.5 and 3.5 kilos when empty - before any baggage was put on. Protests to check-in personnel were in vain. Pay the excess or leave your luggage behind. When contacted, Ryanair denied responsibility claiming scales were owned and maintained by Treviso airport authorities. It was a Ryanair agent, however, who demanded payment and who issued a Ryanair receipt. The same luggage deemed overweight by Ryanair was later weighed at another low-cost airline at Gatwick and found to be 3.0 kilos below the limit.
